Fifa tells his family that he has applied for a scholarship to Japan, but his grandmother asks him to work in the forest reserve for three months in exchange for financial support. He feels uncomfortable but agrees, and ends up getting lost. Just as things seem dire, he meets Hem, a quiet ranger.

Fifa starts working, but his carelessness leads to an accident. Hem handles the situation, but the two of them end up clashing. This leads Fifa to reflect on his attitude and he decides to change. While Hem is strict, he notices the change in Fifa and their relationship shifts.

As Fifa adjusts to life in the forest, his relationship to Hem deepens. While learning more about forest ecology, the developing relationship between the two leads Fifa to think about his own relationship to nature.

Fifa gets closer to the people in the village and works with them, while preparing a special gift for Hem to show his gratitude. Fifa is also looking forward to the results of his scholarship application, but when things don't turn out as expected, Hem tries to console him.

Hem remembers 15 years ago when he turned down a chance to study abroad against his father's wishes. When Fifa is feeling down and wants to leave the forest, Hem takes him to the elephant sanctuary, which gives him the courage to apply for the scholarship again while moving in with Hem.

While chasing after a poacher, Hem gets injured and Fifa takes care of him. One night, the two talk about love and a change happens between the two.

Fifa is ready to leave the forest and chase after his dream of studying abroad. Despite Hem's stern demeanor, he supports Fifa's decision. One night, Fifa confesses his feelings to Hem. How will things end between these two?
