Johnny and Sydney, two recovering drug addicts, make a pact to get clean together, hoping to find a way out of their destructive cycles. However, as they face the brutal realities of withdrawal and temptation, Sydney begins to feel that she needs to break free entirely in order to survive, even if it means leaving Johnny behind. As both face their darkest moments-Sydney navigating her own difficult road to sobriety, and Johnny battling addiction and isolation-each must confront the painful consequences of abandonment, the fragility of trust, and the overwhelming pull of their past. Ultimately, "The Pact" is a raw and unflinching look at the challenges of recovery and the complicated dynamics of love, loyalty, betrayal and a broken relationship.
