The Getaway is a film that explores life, love and cultural differences. The scene is set on a New York City Yacht Cruise where Ivan McCallister (played by Richard Olivier Jr.) celebrates his birthday with a spontaneous getaway from his hard working life as a Reggae Musician, songwriter and composer. Aboard the Cruise he meets Kelly Rowland (played by Janet Wessler) a fashion Designer from Germany out for a little getaway of her very own. On the three-hour cruise they both come to learn many things about each other, and how ya mon, love can be found in the most strangest places.
