Josh has moved back to his hometown. Instead of moving back in with his parents he has moved in with his ex-girlfriend, Daisy. The two of them host a movie night for their friends every Friday night. As they plan for said night, Josh discusses a conundrum with a girl he works with. Too nervous to ask her out, he seeks the advice of Daisy. The rest of the night is spent talking about the movie Diner and whether or not anyone can name all the members of the rat pack.

Josh is ready to employ the plan, much to Daisy's dismay... ALTHOUGH it was her idea. Instead, Josh takes Cooper on his bar stakeout, but things do not go according to plan. When Friday comes around Daisy warns everyone not to eat over her new rug, giving only a pass to Kelly.

Kelly and Anderson come dressed in western attire. Much to their dismay, they find no one else has dressed up. No matter. They can't leave because Kelly's ex has been stalking them all day. At least, that's what Anderson believes. Everyone thinks Anderson is worried for nothing, until the scary man appears with a posse.

Brad knows film. He also knows music. The rest of the group tests his knowledge when it comes to picking the perfect music piece to complement a movie scene. That is, until Callie shows up and causes a stir. Thinking fast, Josh comes up with a scheme that may be crazy enough to work.

Josh's "scheme" has worked and now he's getting closer to asking Callie out. Daisy and Kelly are wine tasting and choosing flowers for a benefit, much to Brad's chagrin. But the worst is yet to come, when everyone realizes it's Cooper's choice for movie night. Bring on the crappy movie!.

Josh and Callie go out on a date, but sadly things don't go the way Josh had hoped they would. Meanwhile, Brad tries applying for an open position as a film reviewer and hilariously Cooper, unknowingly, plays hide-and-seek with the movie night group.
