As the filming takes on, the lines between reality and fiction start blurring, and their cosplayed romance is extended to reality. When their roles as actors are challenged by their own selves, so is the morality of their romance, as Helena realizes Lino can only see her through the lens of his own character creation. The film inside the film hints at the idealization aspect In which we can approach the people that take part in our lives as secondary characters stuck in a version of them we have created, as we lack to see them beyond our own ideals and expectations. Lino and Helena as young, naive and Pure aspiring artists face the border that separates creation and destruction in their attempt to make a significant and personal film.
