As with all of the Bob Monkhouse episodes of Wipeout, this edition was recorded without a studio audience, and the sound of the "crowd" dubbed on afterwards.
Bob judges the reactions of the "laughs" he'll get, leaving space accordingly, yet there's a small part in this edition where the "laughter" doesn't match Bob's "reaction" to the "audience".
Having told a somewhat corny joke about curries and emissions, Bob gives an "Oh well", as if expecting only a mild titter or even a groan at the routine. Yet his reaction and the start of his greeting to the next contestant are both somewhat drowned out by the "audience" laughing heartily.
