Trivia

Episode #5.37

Wipeout

The first grid in this edition - types of grass - had previously featured as an Auction Bid game in Episode #4.24 (1997).

As the Auction Bid features only 12 possible answers, 8 of which are correct, another 4 possible answers are added here to make it up to 16. However, the grid features 9 answers used in the previous grid, with only corn, pampas and papyrus not carried over.

As 5 of the reused answers are correct, the contestants would have had that information if they'd seen the earlier edition - as well as, perhaps more significantly, the knowledge of 4 of the 5 Wipeouts.
The grid subjects featured on this edition are:

Main Grids: Types of grass; Cats from the Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical "Cats".

Auction Grids: People who won Olympic gold in swimming; Rulers known as "The Great".

Final Grid: Carla Lane sitcoms.
This edition was recorded on 4th February 1998.
