Bob's way of presenting the show has a significant difference to that of original presenter Paul Daniels, in that he'll frequently talk about answers before the board reveals whether they're right or wrong. Daniels would wait until the answer was revealed as correct or a Wipeout before discussing the background, if needed, behind the answer.

Here Bob is given "Regency" as a choice by a contestant, stating: "Is Regency an early 18th century French or early 19th century English design style?" This decision removes any suspense over whether or not the answer is right, as Bob's very specific details about the answer give away the fact that it will be correct.

Yet it appears to be a deliberate choice by Bob, in that with the Daniels method contestants could quickly state their next guess before giving Daniels chance to discuss the details of their previous one. Bob seems to suggest that this is the reasoning behind his decision, laughing and saying: "Got the information in then, didn't I?"
