Bob Monkhouse in Wipeout (1994)

Trivia

Episode #5.52

Wipeout

This edition was recorded on 6th February 1998.
The first Auction Grid - Cartoon characters voiced by Mel Blanc - had previously appeared in Episode #4.4 (1995).

However, only six of the answers were the same on both grids: Chip 'n' Dale (here as "Chip 'n Dale"), Deputy Dawg, Popeye, Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales and Twiki.
An Auction Grid on cartoon characters voiced by Mel Blanc sees several characters that weren't related to one film or series, but several shorts, such as Popeye and Woody Woodpecker.

As they aren't related to a single title, and no particular title is specified, these aren't included in Movie Connections.
The third Auction Grid on snooker player nicknames was previously used in Episode #3.10 (1995).

However, only 7 of the possible answers were the same on both versions of the grid: Dracula, Grinder, Hurricane, The Maltese Falcon, Nugget, Whirlwind and The 147. (An 8th option, "Clones Cyclone", was similar to the earlier version's "The Cyclone".)
The grid subjects featured on this edition are:

Main Grids: Collectors; Monarchs from the House of Stuart.

Auction Grids: Cartoon characters voiced by Mel Blanc; Furniture styles; Snooker player nicknames.

Final Grid: Countries with a time zone one hour ahead of GMT.
