Born into a Dalit caste Ramesh, a curious and bright adolescent boy, has hardly ever stepped out of his house due to a physical disability. He spends most of his days sitting by his house's door, observing the outside world. With a strong bias against Ramesh's disability, the uncle believes that Ramesh is bound to end up a beggar. Eager to join the school, Ramesh must prove himself and overcome the negative attitude of his family members.
