The Transition of Z was initially started as a short film concept with a scripted run time of approximately 20mins. It was decided early on in the production phase of the film that, since the team were having so much fun with the process, to naturally extend the story arc and aim for a feature length of 75 minutes with the inclusion of several new scenes and further development of the characters.
Transition of Z was ambitiously filmed using Canon 200D and 200DmkII DSLR cameras due to budget restraints.
