The voices of the Blue Jumpsuit Army Soldiers are done by director Tristan van Doorn and producer Jeroen van Eden.
Marijke Meems and Matthijs ten Kate (Alex' parents) were cast last minute due to cancellation of the original actors. Director Tristan van Doorn and producer Jeroen van Eden knew Marijke and Matthijs from working on a commercial.
The cartoon animation that can be seen in the film was specially made by Alicia Zwart. Although only a few fragments are shown in the film, the original animation was almost a minute long and contains several unseen dialogues by Jack Thompson and General Horrid. The animated cartoon animation can be seen in its entirety on the exclusive DVD of the film.
