There's an aberration during the first grid where Bob tells a joke about Kojak reminiscing with Yul Brynner about dandruff. Whereas the canned laughter is usually ubiquitous with any gag Bob delivers, in this case there's silence in the studio, with no post-dubbed "audience" response added.

Goofs
A frequent occurrence during the Bob Monkhouse era, particularly in this first run, is that contestants will be looking at the wrong camera during the opening "smile at the viewers" introductory sequence.

In this edition only Mark Rudge looks at the right camera, and even then not for the entire time.
