Anita Graham, Martine Broderick, and Michael Lloyd in Wipeout (1994)

Trivia

Episode #5.15

Wipeout

Contestant Michael Lloyd - verbally introduced as "Michael", but credited on his name panel as "Mike" - partially uploaded this episode to YouTube in 2012.

Mike claimed: "I had a great day, filmed at ITV, Bob did 6 shows a day so didn't really get to meet him properly, listen for the roars of laughter from the audience which is strange as there was only the 4 of us there, first prize was a holiday which we were all told doesn't exist and will be £200 instead. Would love to do it again."
Bob's habit of revealing the answers before the board does is much in effect during the opening grid on names of animal habitats.
In forty of the episodes from this fifth series Bob demonstrates the final grid for contestants by physically pressing a possible answer.

This is the first episode in the run where this doesn't happen, and instead Bob stands at the podium and asks the contestant to attempt it.
The grid subjects featured on this edition are:

Main Grids: Creature homes; Expressions named after real people.

Auction Grids: Exotic fruits; Celebrities who won beauty contests; American Football terms.

Final Grid: Shades of blue.
