Every childhood game in Saigon has its own season: the marbles season, the figure-toy season, the plastic-coin season - And in one unforgettable season, Bi: a 12-year-old boy, discovered one of the greatest lessons of his life.

**"Bi, a 10-year-old boy, often led his 5-year-old brother Nhat through the alleys to play the neighborhood game of 'Trading-cards Slipper' with other kids. Not being very skilled, Bi usually lost and gradually saw his collection of trading-cards disappear. Determined to keep playing and win back what he had lost, Bi took Nhat's cards as well, only to lose them all, sparking tension between the two brothers in the days that followed. After many failed attempts, one day Bi joined the game again, this time using the cards he treasured most, the ones he had carefully kept for so long. Yet he still lost. Seeing his brother's disappointment, Nhat, out of love, handed Bi the new cards their mother had just bought for him, hoping Bi could reclaim his precious collection. Moved by his younger brother's kindness, Bi burst into tears and led Nhat home, choosing not to play anymore.
