The dudes from Lasers on the Ride discuss a series of topics, ranging from what exactly constitutes a freestyle nowadays to Brampton Ontario to porn company office dynamics (no Jim and Pam here). The matter of prostitutes arises, more specifically whether a man who frequents a prostitute can do so of sane mind and whether a woman can choose to prostitute herself of free and healthy spirit. Mike attempts to lead Akil to feminism and you decide whether it worked (it didn't). The topic of why one artist might not support another artist is broached and two theories emerge, along with a bottomless pit of 'nahmeans' into which we fall. Jay poses what Mike concludes to be the hardest, most probing question of all time, and the name Jeremy Roenick is defamed, as it should be.

The guys pontificate on Bob Barker's particular brand of misogyny and then devise a plan to take over the game show industry. Mike shines when Jay raises Carmen Sandiego from the dead. Akil discovers that all new babies are treated like (baby) Jesus himself and then cautions against treating anyone like a monkey. The Lasers attempt to track down oft-forgotten early nineties icon Jamal from Ghost Writer, while Jay and Mike tackle the subject of hunting animals with the aid of drones and how nature can fight back (drone spirit!). Lastly a near-death Dave Brubeck leads the Lasers on a walk straight into the grave from either an elevator or just some good cookies.

The fellas discuss nods of respect - black, bearded, or otherwise. Mike wonders why there are no wheelchair icons (icons in wheelchairs) and then he and Jay flirt with indecency while workshopping an all wheelchair puppet play. The Lasers realize they all love French Montana and then reminisce to when Common + Kanye = FIRE. The crew reveal their personal preferences as to 'Ryu or Ken' and establish what makes an 8-bit Japanese Superman really fly. Mike makes plans for a sixties Laurel Canyon style soiree and Jay attempts to distinguish between Joe Montegna, Joe Montana, and Joe Namath. Finally the Lasers determine who had the superior version of the song "The Life" and Akil and Mike pray to the shrine of Grafh's 'That's What They Call Me'.

Akil, resident patty man, spreads the wealth. Jay and Mike broach the controversial subject of the ladies in these here streets and ultimately disagree. Akil isn't here for Facebok and Lou Gehrig catches another L. Mike reveals his idea for his Adult Swim show while Akil reveals that he is a magnet for communists. One man's poop becomes another man's problem and Mike plays a clip of samurai wisdom that will change lives. Finally, the Lasers discuss the beauty of an 'I don't give a whaaat' moment in its various iterations.

The Lasers discuss Rihanna vs. Teairra Mari, Rihanna's many hits and also her general queendom. Jay reflects on hours spent researching elderly strangers' prescription medication (to what end? you decide) and introduces the idea that the guy in "Limitless" is just taking adderal. Speaking of the elderly (jk jk), Def Squad members are discussed, Mike puts Akil onto Hurricane G and Jay wonders about Erick Sermon's brush with a window. The Lasers move on to such hot topics as club etiquette (fingers in the face is a no-no), mumblerap and its founding father (none other than 50 Cent, they posit) and BET uncut. The subject of durags emerges, specifically as durags relate to Memphis Bleek and then more generally how they relate to us all. Captain America is painted as hero by Akil, villain by Jay, and as a possible and probable racist by Mike. The Lasers push through and nearly broach country music, but stop just shy and settle for just listing country music artist names. Akil does, however, manage a mean spaghetti western whistle. Mike talks his love for Florida as Akil and Jay reflect on their fear of Florida. Finally, as the conversation winds down, Mike claims to enunciate but doesn't.

Akil goes full curmudgeon and the guys welcome extended member of the Lasers, fellow Montreal rapper and old friend KC. First, Action Bronson producers are dissected and then pitted against one another (Akil gives Harry Fraud the business and Mike laughs). Next, the Lasers talk pubic hair and their respective preferences in that regard, with Akil taking a strong stand on the matter and then making a shocking reveal. Mike and KC broach the oft-disputed topic of organized religion and then KC reveals the psalms of Ash Ra, which are bonkers crazy. The Lasers move on to lady noses and allegiances are claimed. Akil gets angry again, first at thirst-traps and then at jars. Mike goes deep into his childhood to touch on what everyone is dying to know, his thoughts on broken telephone, and finally Jay reveals his hangover regimen.

The guys welcome back KC, whose rise to prominence was swift following episode 6. First things first KC makes his own theme song and the Lasers establish their top 5 rap beats OF ALL TIME. Jay reveals his take on fudge/marry/kill and it's pretty bleak stuff. KC drops a freestyle as a KC is wont to do and the world cheers. Donald Trump gets broached. Akil laughs HARD. Mike recounts a life changing event. Jay pushes the boundaries of the mile high club and KC recounts the summer he spent at the Jersey Shore house right before it became famous. To finish it off the Lasers talk baseball, the exploits of Ricky Henderson and whether Tim Raines was a jerk or not.

The Lasers open with a story of Hulk Hogan falling prey to another man's nasty, entrapping habit. Mike busts "on fleek" wide open and the Lasers talk slang. Mike then also shares his philosophy on Ls and how important it is to gracefully take those shits in life. Lil Dicky is broached, the Lasers share their thoughts and Mike his disdain. They discuss Khaled, Nardwuar, and Khaled on Nardwuar. They go deeeeeep into beat talk, discuss the Black Keys and establish their best era, and Mike gives up on Jay-Z. The Lasers finish off by talking grooming and swap war stories, most of them involving penises, and Mike shares his philosophy on life, which is basically just sitting in that shit.

The guys discuss Maslow's hierarchy of needs and then keep digging deeper into triangles and get real about the food pyramid. Akil wonders/worries whether he is a negative nancy on the internet but chalks it up to being a gemini. Mike and Jay overindulge and discuss "nature's instruments" and Akil pushes Daredevil. The Lasers scheme on where to hide the stash. Mike besmirches Karen Civil's name and Bobby Brown catches his first W in a long time and high praise from the Lasers.

The first of three in the "Break-Ups to Wake-Ups" series, Mike recalls how the Knicks disrespected Phife with a t-shirt and the Lasers discuss Popeye and whether spinach was just drugs. Akil discusses his idea for a Montreal-centric tv show called "Frontreal" and wonders whether his twitter presence is too negative before Mike gets negative about microwaving fish. Mike finally addresses Akil's hate-on for fellow producers and Akil gives us some insight into what's really going on in there. An incredibly confident Akil launches the idea for a Lasers-only "Rhythm Roulette", presumably forgetting that they had already planned on doing one, and Mike and Jay discuss happy accidents during freestyles.

Part 2 in the "Break-Ups to Wake-Ups" series, the Lasers begin by recalling tour stories, most gross, few not. KC returns, Akil hands out snacks and laughs and chew sounds abound. Akil really gets to the heart of the matter of his relationship (pun intended) and asks for advice. Mike gets to the heart of whales (pun intended, dude loves whales) and the Lasers talk whale babies and then later birds. Akil and Mike agree that Donald Sterling wasn't really even as racist as they'd expect him to be and Mike tells a K-OS story. Akil returns to the scene of the crime of his heartbreak and the Lasers bear witness to his pain in a haha way.

3/3 in Break-Ups to Wake-Ups, begins with a Bootsy Collins concert live from the speakers of the Lasers' studio. Mike brings up meditation and Jay relates. The Lasers workshop a story where produce comes alive in shut fridges and then say weird things about dead animals. Mike tells the story of Mason, a gator killing kid with flawed estimation skills, which sets off a flurry of guestimates. KC finishes up with what KC does best: wordplay.

The gang welcomes Montreal rapper and frequent collaborator Shogun to the podcast. Things kick off with Jay suggesting a way of giving back to the community that naturally involves penis before discussion shifts to the much-maligned "dress code" rules of the early and mid aughts. Shogun teases Akil with the idea of "Marvel Comics"-centric episode of Lasers and Mike reveals his thoughts on the Rza and Vancouver. Shogun speaks on the hidden racial attitudes in the city before metro stations are pitted against one another and Mike attempts to prepare the guys for an eventual zombie apocalypse. To wrap it up the Lasers tackle guns, violence, the consequences of said violence, and why "Braveheart" is trash.

2/2 of the Shogun series, kicks off with a trip down memory lane of fashion trends in rap throughout the aughts (DIPSET DIPSET DIPSET). Mase the God is broached and Shogun doesn't get down but brings his A game to the "What colour is Memphis Bleek's durag" competition. Buckle your seatbelts nerds because Akil and Shogun talk Batman vs Superman, Akil says "do you know your DC lore tho?" and the roof caves in (not really). Mike tells of his twitteractions with the president of Adult Swim who is actually its Creative Director and how they just can't agree. More nerd stuff is broached, including South Park, Swingers, Scarlett Johansson, Power Rangers oh my. Jay loves bowling, Shogun drops a freestyle, and Ken vs Ryu rears its ugly head again.

The gang prepares for the arrival of Montreal bred international battle rap hero/villain Loe Pesci. Before he shows up Akil reveals his summer plans and confirms that he isn't in fact Eeyore and Mike drops knowledge on chronic masturbation and trenchcoats. Mike establishes that he does not get down with Johnny Cash no how no way and the Lasers explore microphone techniques and develop what they call "the carabiner". Battle rap is broached and the different eras and players are discussed. Once Loes arrives he takes us through his history and tells a great story of how Bishop Brigante got onto 106 and Park's infamous "Freestyle Friday".

The guys are joined by rapper/battle rapper/producer Loe Pesci. First Akil and Loes discuss Leslie Jones/SNL/the Ghostbusters reboot before Loes speaks rather disparagingly on Mother Theresa. Jay attempts to live vicariously through Loes' graffiti bombing past and Loes wonders if Lil' Wayne is the most improved rapper of all time (he is, though alternates are provided). The whole crew wax nostalgic on No Limit Records. St Henri hero Louis Cyr is discussed though there is definite confusion as to who exactly he is. Akil and Loes discuss the joys and complexities of sampling. Mike shows everyone how Frank Ocean was foreshadowing in his rhymes and Loes gives his thoughts as to DJ Khaled and why he's ultimately good for mankind. To close out, the gang find out the origins of the name "Hindu Kush", Loes' group with Sam Osa.

The dudes bring in former rapper and current father Meta4ce who previously and still kinda travels the world as hypeman for Canadian sensation Karl Wolf. To start off Meta drops knowledge, including why he rolled real deep on stage, and then tells the story of how his successful club night got shut down by F1 driver Jacques Villeneuve. He moves on to how he met Karl Wolf and details their first show together. Lastly Meta chronicles some of their travels.

Part 2/2 of the Meta4ce interview, the gang plays "forget it, pick a record!" and discusses the problems inherent to rap crews before attempting to establish the best one. Meta delves into the intricacies of the Christian Lebanese and tells stories of Karl Wolf's tour rules and then of an old ass orgy involving 2 Live Crew sans Luke in Pointe Claire Village. As the conversation winds down, Meta gets inspirational and talks letting go and loving what you do and Jay introduces his new game "New England Patriot or famous polygamist?"

The Lasers prepare for the arrival of their guest and also the microphone they desperately need for his use. First things first the Lasers attempt to fashion a fun game for him and Mike tells of how he once upon a time closely examined the data and predicted the downfall of a video game giant. The Lasers discuss the Troy Ave/Taxstone saga/telenovela, vacation spots and then teexxx meeexxxx before moving on to the soiling of pants and laxatives. Jay tells of how his radio prof once made the class listen to the racist relic that is Amos 'n' Andy without acknowledging the glaring issue at hand and Mike talks taco bowls and black Mexicans.

The Lasers welcome Montreal rap producer 80 Rock to the mezzanine. Conversation kicks off with talk of 80's removal of the American flag from his much loved Polo garb collection and the gang briefly speak politics and chicken wing spots. 80 talks his production process and the crew discuss city birds vs suburb birds before Mike paints a vivid picture using latinos camping. Ken vs Ryu comes back around as does "fuck it, pick a record!" and the crew discusses the traps inherent to sampling reggae and then the intricacies of Russian funk. 80 Rock gives us some insight into his background and the dudes dive in and wade chest deep in 80s rock. The conversation winds down with Mike calling The Game a 2 X bitch for getting a butterfly face tattoo and then changing it 'pon getting clowned and finally rapper J Red stops by to discuss hot yoga.

Kicks off with SonReal hate (shots fired ahahaha) and more Johnny Cash disparaging. The Lasers find out they don't know what an adverb is and assign Sex and the City personalities to one another (Akil doesn't like what he hears, Mike hates Aidan, and Jay is revealed to be jazz dude). A fight breaks out outside the studio and Akil uses Mike's lyrics to frame him for a domestic, before telling of how he once used pee as a weapon. Toronto's Caribana is covered and 1967 is explored.

Akil learns that he can properly punch and the guys explore various steam blowing mechanisms. The Lasers contrast Jay Z and Diddy and play a game to guess who ghostwrote some of Diddy's most famous verses (J Cole poops the bed here). Jay tells a story of a job interview gone bad, the Lasers bring back Johnny Blaze apparel and discuss the likelihood that they were conceived near fire/hot tubs. They talk muz-ACK and Mike blows Akil's mind/breaks his heart when he reveals that Bob Marley's dad was white. Jay thinks bidets are a status symbol and reveals that he has never encountered a double sink bathroom...no but ever.

Mike and Akil pick nominees for white man of the year and consider Jay for the spot. They talk fresh white tees and move on to discussions surrounding #BlackLivesMatter, Michael Jordan, and white men's fear of black men's prowess. The Lasers discuss parenting techniques and some of the reprimands they survived growing up.

The Lasers start by broaching buddy cop scenarios and bad bad behavior at work before they wake up KC with weed and explain why you shouldn't call someone buddy, buddy. They discuss inspiration and the creative process and then balls and then underpants and then balls again. Ken Griffey Jr helps Mike avoid pre-2-early-ejaculation and the Lasers re-examine the white man of the year awards. Mike remarks how he's not interested in people's opinions when it comes to his music-stuff and Jay remarks how he welcomes the attention haha.

Mike reveals what plastic surgery he wants once he's popping and Akil asks for advice on how to stick to his guns. They lose their minds discussing possible urban warfare scenarios, talk little kid producers, and mood board new hairstyles for Pusha T. To finish it off the Lasers come up with cute murder names for current/future/possibly crime ridden cities and Mike recalls his time on hella hard Delmar.

Sarah Jay, Associate Editor-in-Chief at Hip Hop Canada, joins the Lasers to talk rap music and make some jokes. It kicks off when Sarah blows minds with the reveal of Jewish Sesame Street and delivers some insight into the Orthodox Jewish community in Calgary. The group speaks vices, whether weed makes you lazy (100% of moms say yes), and fashion blogs. Sarah names names on some rappers (MGK stand up) and the group clears the air between Sarah and Akil. Politics in Rap (trademark) is broached, Canadian rappers are discussed and the group talks circumcision, with Akil and Mike taking strong stances for and against. The group talks favorite rappers, calls out some least favorites, and plays what colour is Memphis Bleek's durag?

The Notorious Mookie Lee, sees the return of contributor KC and kicks off with the Lasers speaking on their roots, African mostly, and moves on to talk of Tiger Woods and other philanderers. Jay tries to spread The Arkells and gets rebuffed real quick and then tells a story of Coltrane that you have to hear to believe and then still be an idiot to believe. KC helps establish a theme song for the podcast and Jazz is discussed pretty heavily. The Lasers wind down with an attempt at arriving at certain consensuses but ultimately fail - chaos reigns!!!.

Montreal producer/manager/getitdone'r Dirtwork rolls through, bringing artist Treh LaMonte in tow. Dirtwork shares his background, speaks on his time spent in Atlanta and talks his come-up along side Montreal legend Bad News Browns and rapper/friend Magnum. The group discusses influences and influencers and preferences in this music shit. Kanye is broached and they disagree as to the replay value of 808s and Heartbreak. They pick least favorite Kanye songs, talk Kanye's character, and discuss/laugh as to who would win in Eminem vs Drake. Mike and Dirtwork discuss chords and process in production and agree that Drake didn't have no goddamn ghostwriters. The gang discusses Montreal rap, the scene and its peoples, talks its politics and Dirtwork drops knowledge. They pick worst hat game, talk tucked ears and dad hats, and play what colour is Memphis Bleek's du-rag? To close out Treh LaMonte talks his first musical influences.

Kicks off with the Lasers discussing their stinky fridge, bad artist names and whether new Toronto slang is just Britain slang is just Old Toronto slang is just West-Indian slang. They discuss weed paranoia and then just general paranoia and pit fine bitch against fine bitch. Birks Fairview catches plenty Ls and the Lasers talk tv and Treach real quick. Jay tries to get Skinny and Mike to ride a dirt bike to hell (St Lazare that's you) and introduces a gameshowquizz. Mike and Akil talk Raphael Saadiq, the name of Jay's funk album and alternate rap names for Mike. They talk early days of the internet, brainstorm a horror movie premise called Dial Up, and go full bonkers to end the shit.

Mike brings out his Organized Noize playlist featuring deep cuts including one Lil' Will jam from 1998 that sounds like 2008, maybe 2018, maybe 2098. They discuss regional sounds and 808s vs 909s, Akil recalls a romantic event in a romantic setting and they breakdown complexes. Akil rails against the Jehovah's Witness and Mike rails against lakes and reminisces on his time in North Carolina. Comedian Mariam Khan rolls through and tells us a little about her stand-up career and the Montreal comedy scene before the group establishes when and how ethnicities are funny. To close out Mariam shares her love for Big Brother and the reasoning behind it and they rank Canadian comedians from zeros to Norm Macdonald.

Montreal comedienne Mariam Khan joins the podcast. She and Mike talk about looking racially ambiguous before she details a trip to Boston but really South Boston but really World War B. Mariam shares her love for Big Brother, Mike schemes his submission video, and Jay misinterprets the premise. The group discusses whether they've fallen into oedipus/elektra complexes in their relationships, play Ken vs Ryu, and speak on Brandon Lee and Kanye. Mariam teaches Danish and Jay teaches Maritimes and the Lasers introduce Mariam to the chit chat championships. Dating rears its ugly head, Mariam chronicles an evening with a cheap son of a bitch and they play Fuck it. Pick a Record.

The Lasers discuss spooky racist Donald Trump and his spookier supporters, including that one friend of Akil's. They talk marriage and cheating and Akil shares some antiquated views on relationships. Jay relays a haunted house experience and the Lasers create Lasers radio. Mike asks the question no one wants to ask or have asked, Akil workshops (in rather poor taste) Pedophilia Paradisia and audio violence breaks out between B Real and Big Boy the disc jockey. Jay closes out with MURRRDDDEEERRRRRR.

The dudes kick stuff off by designing their own Barbies and talking doggy tinder (Air Bud we see you). Jay introduces a typecasting game he's called "Do you have a little bit of him in you?", they discuss winter coats and the Lasers meet their text door neighbours. They scheme on how to sneak into Reggae Fest, speak Jamaican event vs Jamaican event and then more generally life in the West Indies. Akil nearly muscle memories himself out of his job with porn and Jay over excels at gym class.

Kicks off with talk of the Cleveland Indians' racist logo and Jay's love for baseball. Mr. Wavvy, Montreal music/culture writer and Cult MTL contributor, joins the Lasers and they talk Kid Cudi and his influence and then predict who got next Cudi. Jay tells of his friend who sells dirty underpants to dirty dudes and Wavvy breaks down his current favorites from the city. They discuss Andre vs Big Boi, misogyny via Action Bronson, and Shaq's #blessed music career. They turn top 5 on its head and pick bottom 5 and Mr Wavvy talks Spacejam but also talks why he talks Spacejam. Mike tests his theory that nostalgia rules everything around us and tells of when he met (ghost) Curtis Mayfield who gave him his blessing.

KC comes back around and joins the Lasers to talk music, feelings and the Media. Things jump off with the dudes discussing their respective emotional states and then Desiigner and then Weezy's statements RE: racism. Jay touches on his relationship a little and Akil touches a little on a lady and tells us about it. They discuss the various types of energies one can bring to the bedroom and then the pitfalls of relationships.

Features Erin Willett, a brand developer/strategist and owner/founder of the Tap in Team. It kicks off with talk of the current work climate and where employment is headed and then how to brand masturbationfromhome as a hustle. They play Fuck it Pick a Record!, Erin talks why "artist" is a heavy ass title, takes us through her come up and explains why everyone should pick up what she's throwing down. She coaches the Lasers through their brand and Jay coaches everyone through that coke life. The group explores Akil's perceived negativity and tries to break it down into components and the studio's bathroom catches an L but then a W. 808s and Heartbreak gets no love again despite Erin's best attempts and the group picks guests for the dinner party of their dreams.

Election coverage special; Opens up with talk of the process and Mike's facebook brawl with a racist over #BlackLivesMatter. They decide to take it to the phone lines and call some folk to predict the outcome and Akil unveils a nutty possibility. Ladies by the name of Trump don't wanna talk about it, Prairie Dog Junk comes out to play, and ladder matches become pillow fights. The Lasers do the groundwork and discover that random people in the States are Trump supporters and are nonos on abortion. They turn Jumpman into Trumpman (call us, Drake) and explore an alternate reality where Clinton wins and Trump is the ultimate loser.

The Lasers are joined by Markings from the Artbeat collective and the Piu Piu scene. He speaks on his time as a rapper, meeting KNLO, and the beginnings of the Piu Piu movement and Artbeat. They discuss Akil's long lost (tshirt) love, an awful poster from a county fair, and pick bottom 5 dead or alive. They dissect the idea of influence in art/music and play Which Diddy Did He do?, the Diddy ghostwriting game. French rap gets a talking to and true schoolers do too. They play Ken vs Ryu and What Colour is Memph Bleek's durag? - classics, and then talk the sad state of the Montreal scene in the mid and late aughts. Markings discusses Guatemalan music of past and Mike finally finds a brother in arms against nostalgia. Mook Life gets a mention and Mike talks producers who can't see the music for the sample. They play Fuck It. Pick a Record. and Markings talks stepping your goddamn game up, shoe or otherwise, if you want to goddamn get anywhere.

Recorded right outside of the studio, in the great outdoors (of Fattal), full of dog barks and shouting. It kicks off pretty abruptly with a pretty petty argument between Akil and Jay about, of all things, coziness (guys it's crazy) and they debate whose life is worse and who's gone longer without eating haha. They patch things up and discuss idols before KC talks being stabbed right where they're sitting and breaks down Haitian food. Akil talks of the time he sat in on Concordia's hip hop class, Jay drops train riding wisdom, and Mike his masturbation bucket list. They read fanmail for the podcast and talk waterbeds of yore, before a kitty comes up and steals the show.

The Lasers welcome Tyler Lemco, a Montreal native and internet personality/content creator/writer/rapper who got his start as a founding member of the Epic Meal Time crew. They kick off with talk of revolutionary dance moves and brand ambassadorship and then discuss Chris Gaines who is really just Garth Brooks in disguise. They pit random black entertainer vs random country star and try to pick a winner and then answer tough questions concerning moms and money. Tyler takes us to the beginnings and middles and a wee bit of the end of his run with Epic Meal Time and delivers some sage advice regarding doing for self. The emergence of bacon's iron fist rule over pop culture is explored and the group establishes how many children each member could take out if required/given the chance. Tyler speaks on his career and future projects including some reappropriation bracelets that take the long way to a better planet and talks being on a losing team (white ppl). They play Fuck it. Pick a Record!, speak innovators/giants in music and female rappers and Akil confesses his huge crush on Rah Digga. They close out with best rap albums of all time and words of wisdom.

Welcomes actor Benz Antoine, currently starring in 19-2 and whose previous roles include Get Rich or Die Trying, Romeo Must Die, and Exit 67, to the podcast. He opens with his approach to acting and breaks down a few of his memorable scenes while Jay gets his giddiness as a super fan out of his system. He generously names some names as to who is naughty and nice out there in Hollywood and talks energy as currency. He shares his transition from rapper to actor, how perseverance and determination are (major) key, and which of his movies have been his biggest hits. Talk moves to basketball and Mike and Benz disagree on Lebron (shoutout Iguodala). The recent election and the hypocrisy of race in the States are explored before Benzel takes on some Denzel trivia. He tells of a pivotal moment in his career (Crabman!) when he trusted his instincts and discovered that he was meant for this shit.

The Lasers discuss Slam Poetry and then the only thing worse, cottaging with couples. They move on to the thought process behind dreads and who had the best caesar (Nas maybe) and then talk simulated sex, where Akil shares some problematic acting instincts. Conversation shifts to a rather in-depth discussion on self-reflection and self-love before Akil makes strong claims about taking Just Blaze in a beat battle if given the chance and Mike thinks that's crazy. They close out with deliberations on human resources departments and then cave and join the huge podcast trend of serial killer talk.

Welcomes Karma Atchykah, rapper/music businessman from Montreal and representative for Fool's Gold member Shash'U. He breaks down his current situation and what he's got going on before the Lasers get into christmas mode and plan a secret santa. Jay hands out a few television treatments for Karma to flex upon and the crew talks buff kangaroos pre-viral-kangaroo-video. Karma speaks on a few of his current projects and gives boss advice (quantity over quality my dude he says) and recalls some lame jobs. He speaks on his Haitian background and the group discusses the cultural usefulness of certain movies and themes. Akil wishes it were '92 while Karma shares his modern take on learning and the group discusses the dos, donts and beauty of shrooms consumption while Mike loves LSD. Jay gets too deep about the meaning of the podcast and Karma explains the origins of his name and his thoughts on karma as concept. Jay brainstorms an eggnog business, Akil can't change won't change, and Jay cheats on his ol' mistress nostalgia.

Kicks off with talk of glassware while KC hits a dance that you can't see but you can feel. Mike takes a final stand against nostalgia and they discuss the phenomenon of adults consuming culture that was ultimately created for kids while Jay wonders whether Tom Selleck has twitter. Mike breaks down Canadian Thanksgiving, Jay gets more specific, and Mike celebrates vaginas for their strength and tenacity. Jay shares his crush on art girls and Mike helps him pick up before they discuss big Barry White's sex appeal. They launch a beat battle sampling a famous Hendrix ditty and Akil tries his darndest to defend cartoons before Mike gives Transformers the business.

The Lasers are joined by GrandBuda, Montreal rapper/producer/dj and his manager and Moto Made founder Philippe Durocher-McBrearty. It kicks off with talk of all-inclusive vacations before Akil shares his dos and won'ts list for fruit. GrandBuda recalls an unfortunate microphone incident from the Summer and talks the importance of his live show to what he does. He shares his past life as a band member, the pitfalls of too many cooks in the kitchen, and the synergy he's got going with his producer. They discuss halloween costumes and GrandBuda shares a few LasersExclusives(TM) for our collective pleasure before he and Akil see eye to eye on Dilla and the crew talks De La Soul and shit. GrandBuda judges a Lasers beat-battle in which there can only be one winner before the group discusses parameters in re-la-tion-ships.

Kicks off with talk of the recent face punching spree sweeping St Henri and the Lasers receiving real Grammy noms for imaginary work. The conversation turns quickly to masturbation before they discuss Kanye West's emotional state and how to process one's feelings for one's idols. Jay gives a bad rendition of a proposal he witnessed and they discuss fighting kangaroos, some buff and some less buff. Mike shares a motivational tool his past self used to keep his present self accountable and the Lasers discuss certain changes they might have wanted to have instituted in 2016. KC closes the stuff out with a freestyle, you're welcome and merry christmas.

It kicks off with talk of hootin and hollerin at women before the Lasers answer some questions. Jay steps out for a minute only to be replaced by super canadian Kenny McMaster who joins the Lasers in deciphering rap verses before Mike insults his daughter. They play a frankensteined fudge/marry/kill and Mike kicks Akil out of sremmlife. The gang discusses whether Guwop is a nerd (unlikely), what to expect when you're expecting (technology advancements) and Tesla's clairvoyance. They speak modern freestyling and stolen slang before determining who would win in a fight and Akil's dating style. To close out, they throw some show ideas at the wall and decide which ones stick and give Led Zeppelin the business.

Closes out Season 1 with a bang/pop/trope. Recorded in front of a live studio audience, the Lasers recap some of their favorite moments from the first 49 episodes and take stock of what worked and what won't. They play a couple of previously unheard clips from episodes that never were while Jay gets earnest, Akil gets quiet, and Mike gets booed. Finally, they shut stuff down on a high note of personal goals and accomplishments before reluctantly saying goodbye.
