Originally shot from March to June of 2013, director Christopher Jameson Jones spent two years meeting the right candidates to design the sound for the film, as well as produce a worthy original score. He eventually formed a professional bond with sound designer Jason Grigg and composer Ken Dickerman.
The film was originally written as a short, with only two characters: Andrew and Spencer. Jones felt that the film would benefit from a wider assortment of characters, and a longer length in order to tell the story appropriately.
