A kid learns about the nature and wildlife in a lovely way

A lovely and rare short film made by United States Information Service (USIS), this revolves on a young boy who gets the chance to visit a farm during his day-out of school (in a big city) and begins to learn about nature, animals and the importance and interaction of both.

As background to it, there's the classic children's song (title of the movie) but without the farmer's presence, and a voice-over in French that presents the story.

It was probably one of those cultural exchange projects designed to introduce one culture to another, but it's strange that the song wasn't translated through captions, neither had a French version sung.

It's one of those adorable and cute shorts where kids can learn plenty of things in a small ammount of time. Even though I don't speak French and only know some basics, it was very easy to follow as narration truly goes along with the images featured. Ee-eye, ee-eye-oh! 8/10.
