- Himself - Host: [on 'Interiors'] Almost from start to finish, this picture Interiors is an unending portrait of pain and after a while I wanted to scream 'Let me outta here.'
- Himself - Host: [on The Boys from Brazil] All I can say is: Gut grief! This film is an embarrassment of overacting. The last reel of the picture is absurd. We get the obligatory nice Nazi. We get the heroic Jew who won't kill even in the face of being killed. And we get some real hambone acting from Greg Peck and even Lord Olivier.
