Lasting just under a hour, this film captures Ringo Starr and the Roundheads live in concert. If you're looking for a ton of songs from The Beatles then you might be disappointed. While there are a few of their tunes, a lot of this is devoted to Ringo's solo career and as long as you don't mind this then you should be highly entertained. I've been lucky enough to see Ringo live once and there's no question that it appears he has fun performing and that's the impression I get from this show. Ringo is constantly moving around the stage whenever he's not playing drums and you can tell he loves to interact with the crowd. There are several very good songs throughout the show but the highlight has to be a terrific version of "Photograph" as well as a rocking take on "With a Little Help From My Friends." The show starts off with a good version of "It Don't Come Easy" before we get into some tracks like "Octopus's Garden," "I Wanna Be Your Man," "Don't Pass Me By" and "Yellow Submarine." The band is pretty tight throughout helping bring these songs alive but it's really Ringo's energy that carries everything home.
