Ep 2 worked better for me because it made it clearer what WROL actually is. This feels less like a traditional series and more like a collection of survival stories set in the same broken world. Once I adjusted to that, I enjoyed it more.

The acting is still pretty basic and the production limitations are impossible to miss. What keeps it watchable is the underlying idea. The episode explores survival in a simple but effective way, and the short runtime helps. At six minutes, it gets in, delivers its point, and gets out.

I'm still not convinced the series is great, but my curiosity has definitely increased compared to the pilot.
