The first Survivor was not great but it had charm, its own story, and environments with an atmosphere only the PS1 render distance could achieve. Survivor 2 is a boring, reused asset amalgamation with a F-tier HUD and poor English translation slapped on top, then shipped out to the drooling masses. Only zombies, contrarians, or people trying to justify their GunCon 2 purchase would appreciate this one. I guarantee the 100th playthrough of Time Crisis 3 will be better than this dreck.

The best part was - after playing through most of my 6 attempts solo cause Steve died early every life - finding out that you can change the overall difficulty and AI partner levels. By default it's set to the dumbest possible, but if you beat the game you can raise it past Level 3 to 4. I dragged my Level 1 Steve through every layer of hell, pumped 12 magnum shots into the final boss, entered my name and quit out faster than you can say "the best part about this game was literally the cover art".
