Alec Guinness was a truly talented actor and a wry raccounteur, but also a man who, according to this documentary, seems to have lived an otherwise unremarkable life. Many admired him, but he was essentially a very private person, there aren't a lot of stories to be told, and those that there are were all told best by the man himself anyway. In consequence, the audience gets reminded of his gifts and his diverse career, but is unlikely to learn much it didn't know already.
