It's quite rare to see films shot in the style of the silent era these days, but Asking Her is a great example of a modern short that faithfully follows the acting, aesthetics, and spirit of early cinema. I think it does a good job of capturing that atmosphere-the music, sound effects, and slapstick comedy tricks are all well executed.

The story is also something that could easily have come from a genuine silent-era film, and the mostly black-and-white visuals fit perfectly with the style. A very nice effort for a budget short.
