Decent film, horrible sound department and rap

The School Duel is not a bad film, but it does struggle with pacing at times. There are several stretches where the story feels drawn out, slowing momentum when it should be building tension and developing the narrative further. Because of that, parts of the movie feel less engaging than they should, even though the foundation of the story is solid enough to hold your attention.

One area where the film succeeds is its casting. The performances are generally strong across the board, particularly the actress playing the mother, who brings a lot of authenticity to her role. Kue also delivers a standout performance, helping to anchor the emotional side of the story and making many of the film's stronger moments feel believable and earned.

The biggest issue, however, comes from the soundtrack and musical choices. Certain rap sequences feel less like a natural part of the story and more like an attempt to promote music that does not fit the film's tone. Instead of enhancing the narrative, those moments pull attention away from what is happening on screen.

The same problem applies to some of the children's songs used throughout the movie. Rather than strengthening emotional scenes, the music often creates a disconnect between the audience and the story. At times, it becomes difficult to stay immersed because the soundtrack clashes with the mood the film is trying to create.

Overall, The School Duel has good performances and a decent story, but questionable music choices hold it back from reaching its full potential. It works well enough as a streaming movie, but it never quite achieves the cinematic impact it seems to be aiming for.
