At first the movie started plainly... the main character felt pretty... annoying. But like EVERY high school movie he removes his glasses... his WHOLE personality changes. And like the whole movie was fine... a lot of clips in the movie felt borrowed from other movies. It was so damn obvious. Some scenes were a bit emotional. Heartwarming? But some parts felt so... ewgh. And idk, I just felt like tension rose really high but never broken perfectly. But in the end, it was a fine movie... you couldn't even tell it was low budget... but that's just my opinion...
