This horror short is filmed in black and white. I'm not entirely sure it was the best choice, but it probably allowed the director to manipulate certain elements more effectively than color cinematography would have. The story itself has potential, although some aspects of the execution did not fully work. For example, the creature design was reminiscent of the one seen in Teen Wolf starring Michael J. Fox. I understand that this short was likely made on a very limited budget, but some of the seriousness was unintentionally undermined by the creature's somewhat comedic appearance. Still, the twist at the end was quite effective and ultimately made me rate the film more positively.
