Strange Creatures is a retro-style horror short about a woman who travels to the location where her brother died. Everything seems normal-except it's a dark night, and she believes her brother used a payphone there to call her... after his death. The acting is strong, the cinematography works well, the story is engaging, and even the creature's retro-style look fits perfectly. The atmosphere is genuinely creepy, giving me chills more than once throughout the film.
