Are you a fan of Metroidvanias? Yes? Play it. No? Play it and you will be. The visuals are gorgeous and so unique. Music is still stuck in my head. They used it to help create the atmosphere which will glue your eyes to the screen and won't let you leave.

Boss fights? The rhythm changes. Things get real fast. The music changes and matches the fast pace which gives you an adrenaline boost. They are challenging but fair. Patterns are easy to read but you will need your reflexes.

Traversal? It can be frustrating sometimes but maybe because I am not very good at it so it might be on me. It has some cool mechanics that's fun to use.

Good news that the game has some assist modes. You can weaken the bosses. Every time they defeat you, they become weaker. There is also an option to turn off the enemies aggression so they won't attack you. (Only you if attack them first).

I really like these options because it can make your life a lot easier if you don't want the challenges, and it gets really challenging at the end.

Overall, this is a superb game and I really enjoy my time with it. I can't recommend it enough for metroidvania lovers, but I can also recommend it to newcomers because this can be a perfect entry point for those who never played a metroidvania before. (Assisst modes can make things a lot easier.) Oh and the price is extremely low. £16. Worth every penny.
