One of the better movies from Maverick Entertainment...

Oh boy, you just got to love that strumming of guitar and the ethereal horse galloping across the screen, heralding this being a movie from Maverick Entertainment. And upon witnessing that, I have to admit that my expectations to director Daniel Stearns's 2024 movie "Nothing Even Matters" went down a couple of notches.

Writer J Carter put together a watchable script, though I have to admit that it was somewhat on the bland side. And I did struggle, at times, to keep an interest in the storyline as there were some slumps along the way.

I actually do think that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that it was a bad thing. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were good.

In all honesty, then "Nothing Even Matters" is quite a big step up from the usual stereotypical and generic garbage that Maverick Entertainment has been pumping out by the dozen.

The production value in the movie was off the charts for a movie from Maverick Entertainment. So thumbs up for that achievement.

The movie runs at 113 minutes, and definitely could have benefitted from a more round-handed trim in eiditing.

My rating of director Daniel Stearns's 2024 movie "Nothing Even Matters" lands on a five out of ten stars.
