Supper was screened at this years FilmQuest festival in Provo, Utah, and I hope it gets some attention beyond the festival circuit. If you have the stomach for films of this nature (pun intended) it's a must catch. I believe that some of the richest and rawest scenes in film happen around the family dinner table. Supper is no exception. Hilarious, twisted and basically just fantastic performances-this little short has some big WTF moments that kinda singe the spirit, yet there is no one else to blame for your laughter but yourself. If you find a way to catch this short, please do. I really look forward to seeing what else Joshua Ryan Dietz comes up with, because there is a feeling here that we have just scratched the surface of what this filmmaker is going to unleash in the future. I wish I could go further into the film, but you just have to see it. It will find you judging your own character if you enjoy it... and I'm currently doing just that. Bold and Entertaining. 10/10.
