Wow, maybe Brent Bentman should hire writers and stick to directing. At least learn about the things you write about. In this case, boats.

Vida & Mitch decide to go away for the weekend. On their way to a cabin, Mitch stops at a lake to rent a boat and fish for awhile. Unbeknownst to them, a shark is in the lake and is being controled "somehow" by people for the purpopse of dark web gambling. Vida & Mitch become the hunted. Of course they get stuck in this tiny lake, are stranded for hours.

Well, most of the movie is the two in a 14 foot "John Boat" ( flat bottomed). It has a Mercury outboard & Electric trolling motor. Them getting stuck? Their anchor gets hung up. So rather then untie or cut the anchor line, they sit there waiting to die? Oh yeah, and the shore is like 100 feet on either side🤣 Even without a motor, the wind was blowing so hard that the water was choppy. They could have drifted to shore in minutes.

The cast, Vida played by Olivia Nice carried the movie. Her performance and natural beauty were the only good aspects of the film. Mitch played by Michael Tibbetts came off as a weak character, most likely miscast for the role. They looked more like siblings then a couple.

The shark was 80% CGI and 20% real bad rubber looking blob. Alittle more spent on the shark would have helped the appearance at least.

Two people in a boat , mostly insignificant non value adding dialog. Unrealistic, boring, bad acting my male lead.
