It is something about lower-budget films that makes them much more enjoyable than a Hollywood big film.

Up front, I will make it clear that this movie doesn't follow the general beat like the usual Hollywood formula. Sometimes it takes a detour, and this is why it is fresh, and I can see the reason behind it.

The plot is skillfully crafted so that it doesn't just touch on emotion, they seem to want to bring it to a maximum extent, both in the fun and sad directions. I've rarely wept watching a movie, and this one certainly brought storm to my eyes.

The cast performed fantastically, acting is realistic. I especially loved that they have presented a few scenes in a pov camera recording style, which is very relatable in the current world (keep in mind the film is over 10 years ago).

Subplots were also carefully planned, they touch on multiple human values, many of which would be reflected on for people who have more life experiences.

All in all, I love this movie, production-wise, it has its flaws, especially apparent in bigger scenes like car crashes. But who needs to see high production nowadays? It is not what this film is about. It's about life, love, sacrifices, and all the important virtues that humans are struggling to cling to.
