The Track

The film's director Levan Kitia related his inspiration for the film in Georgia's Hammock Magazine saying, "...We used to gather in the evenings, there were no cafes or bars back then, this skating rink was one of our main urban entertainments, there were no skate parks either. It existed, as it does now, but we had the Turtle Lake Road, going from the tip of Turtle Lake to the end was a very big story, we called that road "the track" and I named the film that too..."
