Sean Michaels takes pride in this first of a series of videos, for which the name is a bit of a misnomer. There are beautiful black women plus familiar white actresses as well, and interracial sex gets equal time with the black on black ("is beautiful") scenes. And of course there is the element of narcissism in featuring himself having sex with various beauties, a tradition that has survived in porn with subsequent superstars like Manuel Ferrera and James Deen putting themselves repeatedly into the spotlight.

There are five separate vignettes, named, but one is titled "Invation", a misspelling which I couldn't figure out, as invasion, invitation and innovation do not fit the content of busty redhead Tara Monroe declaring she's bored at a party and then making love to Sean who is wearing a tuxedo, the two of them alternately blindfolded.

Dominique Simone is impressive in "The Letter", masturbating outside as she recalls after receiving a letter her making love to studly Santino Lee, as she's wearing a wedding dress.

Other scenes are relatively cryptic: Julien St. Jox as a bartender named Kevin Smith (unlikely an homage to that filmmaker way back in 1994) who is arrested apparently for unpaid parking tickets by cop Lana Sands, or "The Prisoner" in which Sean has escaped and ends up in a garage making love to Whitney Banks and Dedina on top of a car hood. Video is heavily padded by having sex highlights featured during an opening credits sequence that runs six long minutes! Frugal Sean also shot a feature named "The Blues 2" with mainly the same cast, back to back.

Best moment: Dominique at her mail box finding the letter (among many bills), while a neighbor dog barks loudly -she pulls a Little Richard and ad libs: "Shut up!" at the off-screen dog.

I can only infer that pretentious (and empty) gonzo porn in the VHS era was a preview of the recent gonzo glossy vignettes emanating from the likes of labels like blacked.com. Nothing new under the sun.
