A Slight Upgrade, But the Repetition Remains

This sequel builds on the foundations of the first game with a few welcome tweaks like new combo moves and slightly more varied environments keep the early stages feeling fresh. Playing co-op continues to be the highlight, with the classic banter and chaotic brawls making it a fun experience with a friend. However, much like its predecessor, the novelty fades as you progress. Enemy patterns and mission structures start to become familiar, and the gameplay loop starts to feel repetitive. It's a solid, if slightly short-lived, enjoyable continuation for fans, but it still doesn't quite shake the sense of déjà vu that marked the original.
