The end credits have Simpsons characters recreating different series finales:
- The Sopranos (1999) - Homer, Marge, and Bart around a diner table with Fat Tony's minion Legs.
- M*A*S*H (1972) - A hill over a military camp with "D'oh" spelled out in rocks.
- Mad Men (2007) - Homer, an older version of Uriah the Hippie, and a woman in a yoga meditative position on top of a cliff.
- The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970) - The barflies including Moe in a group embrace in an office with that show's TV station's call letters, "WJM-TV News", printed on the door.
- Breaking Bad (2008) - Ned with heavy facial hair lying on the ground staring at the camera.
- Game of Thrones (2011) - Lisa, Ralph, and Marge sitting in a line dressed in black, as Arya, Bran, and Sansa, respectively.
- Frasier (1993) - Sideshow Bob at a radio booth microphone with assorted characters looking through the window, including Bob's brother Cecil, his father Dr. Robert Terwilliger Sr., and his Italian wife and infant son (Bob, Cecil, and Dr. Terwilliger Sr. are voiced by Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, and John Mahoney, who also played brothers Frasier and Niles, and father Martin respectively on that show).
- Succession (2018) - Milhouse's parents dressed in black in the backseat of a limo.
- Newhart (1982) - Homer and a Simpson animated Suzanne Pleshette sit up in bed looking at each other.
Amy Sedaris, who voiced Maggie saying "Well, that just happened." only recorded her line on September 26, 2024, three days before the episode aired. The line had previously been recorded by Nancy Cartwright.
President Barack Obama was approached for a role in the episode, where he would have said something like "The Simpsons is like being the president, where he had eight great years, then a lot of bad stuff comes after it". However, the producers were told "Thank you, but he's kind of busy right now with the election." when they reached out to him.
The song that plays at the end is an instrumental version of "They'll Never Stop The Simpsons" from season 13 episode 17 Gump Roast (2002).
