This is a story of classic narcissistic abuse. A really great case study of how a class-A narcissist slowly controls and isolates the victim, until the victim is completely brainwashed and not only believes the abuser but even goes to fight against everyone, including her own family and well wishers.

In the beginning you see signs of resistance, and it seems incredible that a smart modern woman would succumb to such toxic masculinity. But this happens a lot in real life.

The setting is in a typical Pakistani patriarchal marriage, but the tactics can be generalized to all cases of narcissistic abuse. Whether committed by a spouse, a romantic partner, a parent, a friend, or whatever.
