I was not familiar with Thin Lizzy. I only knew that it is The Darkness' favorite band so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Wow was I surprised at how bad the band was. Lynott could barely hold a tune. It was dreadful.

And the playing is derivative. Thank God the film is less than an hour long. I was bored beyond belief.

My guess is this is a cultural thing and they were big in England but they didnt translate to America. For me, I'd take Slade over them anytime of the day or night.
