Stumbling upon the 2024 horror movie "Finger Licking" by sheer luck here in 2025, and with it being a horror movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to watch it. As I had never heard about the movie prior to sitting down to watch it, I only knew what little information about the movie as provided by the synopsis.

The storyline in the movie, as put together by Demetrio Deterville and Taylor Victoria Gadsden Deterville failed to entertain me. It was a rather dull and slow paced narrative. And without much of anything interesting happening, then the movie stood a snowballs chance in Hell of delivering. And the fact that the characters were one-dimensional cardboard cut-outs didn't help much either.

I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, which was actually speaking in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were fair, but nothing outstanding. I can't claim that I was particularly impressed with what I witnessed.

Should you happen to enjoy horror movies, don't waste 89 minutes on this movie. It just simply isn't worth the effort.
