I almost didn't bother watching it because of the IMDB rating. But it's definitely a better film than the 3.5 stars it has.

There are some interesting characters in the film along with a reasonable amount of action later on.

The setting is quite interesting as well.

There isn't really much in the way of a back story with the film, no real idea about the past of any of the characters and not really much to be said about what happened at this island.

It's more of a survival film than anything, not really much in the way of horror involved.

I could have watched it and thought I'd wasted an hour or so but I didn't really come away thinking that.
