How the pandemic effected some of the homeless

A 2023 feature film documentary from directors Franc Vissers and Elizabeth Healey about what happened to the Homeless Rough Sleeper Victims of Central London during the pandemic, and in particular the quarantine regulations introduced in Britain in 2020 and 2021. In something of a reverse of my situation they were (largely) left out in the cold (literally and figuratively) being even more marginalised and isolated than before (if that's possible). Amongst a number of obvious points several good points are raised, but overall this documentary is too timid and tinkering in it's attitude (like other documentaries on homelessness) to something which requires radical legislation of the kind i'm currently trying to force into law, namely 'The Homeless Rough Sleeper Victim Human Rights Emergency Special Powers Protections and Provisions Justice Bill'. The personalised approach hasn't, doesn't and won't work either in terms of the narrative of the documentary, or the approach of individual charities like the one featured in this film - 'Under One Sky' - no matter how well intentioned they are. The founder of 'Under One Sky' - Mikkel Juel Iversen - and a number of Homeless Rough Sleeper Victims speak on camera, including a woman who says she's not a rough sleeper, or at least doesn't like being called a rough sleeper, having unfortunately confused the word 'rough' as a description of the person rather than their sleeping conditions. Oh dear! And to crown it all hardly any of them have been a Homeless Rough Sleeper Victim for as long as me, and the problems they describe seem tame compared with mine. Nevertheless i'm glad the documentary was made as there can scarcely be a bigger national social emergency than homelessness. We need a National Housing Service to smash the blight of landlordism.
