In one cut scene a pirate wakes up beside a woman on top of a table (no nudity as they are fully clothed). She has her leg around the man. No sex seen.

when blood is on, small blood spurts come out

Strong, bloody violence, with the skinning of animals and whaling sections being particularly gruesome and disturbing.

You are able to hang people although it doesn't show much blood and is very mild.

Violence is strong with intense stabbing and blood effects but no gore or injury.

This game got a 18 + rating due to its intense bloody combat, mature themes & references and strong language.

Players are able to kill soldiers in a variety of ways using knives, swords and rifles. Naval combat include both ranged combat using a variety of cannons and hand-to-hand combat on deck.

Fairly large amounts of bloodshed.

Although the game can be violent at times, it doesn't feature any gore or dismemberment.

One character says "Fuck"

The f-word is used very frequently.

This game has lots of language including "fuck", "cunt", "bastard", "shit" and "shite", and "arse".

Some uses of profanity nothing extreme.

There are a few uses of the S-word, but during cutscenes only. The player does have the ability to skip the cutscenes.

Players have the ability to go to a pub and drink alcohol and it will cost them money. If the player drinks too much, you will find the character in a haystack. Drinking is not required, and most players stay away.

There is one part in the game where you will find the character that you play drunk. The scene is overall about 5 minutes and is actually meant to be a serious part of the story, and not meant for "fun".

The story gets intense

The hunting and skinning of animals is very disturbing, as is the harpooning of whales. The capture of a dead, harpooned whale extremely upsetting and gruesome, especially for anyone who is vegan.

Some combat can get intense, but nothing frightening.
