At the outset, I must say that once the series got over at 26 eps, I was quite disappointed and wished if it could continue for a few more eps, and that the director/writers could take their own creative liberty rather than being adherent to Tagore's work.

Having said that, Gora is not just a teleseries, but a perfect work of art, done so with complete sincerity, commendable acting and direction, and equally crisp editing. None of the scenes or the long dialogues feel unwarranted, and the solid performances by all the lead actors make Gora a visual treat.

In today's times of OTT, Gora is a refreshing change and a must-watch....it originally came in 2012 on DD at a time when DD itself was fighting for survival among the onslaught by the private channels...

Nevertheless, it's there on YouTube (although without subs yet), do watch for a visual and intellectual treat, which will leave you wanting for more.
