I'm all in favour of supporting independent British cinema, but this was a poor showing. The plot was all over the place and the acting was poor.

Plot wise, the film started off strong and got progressively worse with each act. Interesting premises and characters went absolutely nowhere, like the young policeman, who ultimately was totally pointless in the grand scheme of the plot. It must also be said that the ending, what happened to MK, was cartoonishly nonsensical.

In terms of the cast, with the exception of Nitin Ganatra, the performances were poor and wooden all round.

I do cut this film some slack for effort and the cinematography, but the plot, acting and cringy dialogue are hard for me to overlook, especially compared with other British independent films like Rise of the Footsoldier or deadman's shoes.
