Inspired by Taft Avenue almost being scammed out of money for a fake apartment in Los Angeles by "Blair Ross." Emma Earnest said that if she could, she would call up "Blair Ross" and recite Liam Neesom's monologue from Taken (2008) to scare "her." Thus, what inspired the parody version of that monologue in the short.
