A small story, well told. Harder than it sounds!

I've watched it a good half dozen times and it gets more poignant and laden with bitter-sweet angst every time.

Film students please note - no guns, no zombies, no sex, nobody dies, nobody gets in a fight - just a beautiful expression of Henry David Thoreau's idea that "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them."
