The USS Enterprise-E is briefly mentioned as being out of service and unusable, which Worf says is "not my fault." Showrunner Terry Matalas confirmed in an interview with ScreenRant that Worf succeeded Picard as the captain of the Enterprise, but intentionally wanted to keep the fate of the ship vague, saying, "I wanted to leave its exact fate open for someone to tell that story. It's more fun that way. Better left to the audience's imagination. What do you mean it wasn't his fault? Was it an accident? A mission gone wrong?! The possibilities are endless!"

Goofs
Picard and Crusher speak of "neither transceivers nor receivers" but the transceiver was invented in the 1920s to mean, by definition, both TRANSmitter and reCEIVER. They should either have spoken of "no transceivers" or used "neither transmitters nor receivers". However, they are specifically talking about Jack's ability to receive signals from the Borg, regardless of whether he's able to transmit. By saying he has "neither transceivers nor receivers," they are saying that he has no hardware capable of receiving messages.
