In 2020, during the pandemic, the short film experienced a resurgence via streaming due to its relevance to the #MeToo movement. It attracted a wave of Western horror fans, and many Hollywood celebrities began following Joson on social media. Since then, the filmmaker has been making headlines.

Two distinct versions of Adivino were released: Ludwig Peralta's cut and Emille Joson's cut. Peralta's version premiered at Robinsons Manila as part of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival New Wave showcase. Meanwhile, Joson's cut, submitted to an international streaming platform, garnered widespread acclaim from Western horror enthusiasts, international film festivals, and even Hollywood celebrities. Its global success marked a major international breakthrough for Emille Joson.
