In olavum theeravum, we get to see a 28 year old durga krishna sandwiched between her 64 year old lover mohanlal and 55 year old suitor hareesh peradi. The story, screenplay and drama shown here is absolutely outdated. This plot would work in 70s or 80s, but not at all in 2024. The climax ends on a tragic note despite mohanlal repeating his munthirithoppu act. Due to the flak he received during marakkar, mohanlal speaks here normal Malayalam instead of Malabar slang. Black and white color grading suits this outdated film, also the cinematography is good were the bangles are only shown red. Otherwise, this short film doesn't work at all.
